Expert WordPress Developer – 2 month contract

We are looking to add another WordPress genius to our team on a temporary basis at first but with a view to coming on board forever.  As you probably figured out WordPress is our bread and butter so we need someone that can make the same magic happen that our clients have grown accustomed to.

You will be working on our gorgeous downtown Toronto office in the heart of Yorkville.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 2 years building websites using WordPress as a CMS
  • Deep understanding of custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields
  • Strong knowledge of the WordPress plugin API and experience writing plugins, write panels, admin panels and other custom features
  • A good understanding of WordPress themeing
  • Strong overall PHP skills
  • Experience with front end development using xhtml, css, jquery, ajax etc…

Desired, but not required (does that rhyme?)

  • Someone with a great design sense
  • Experience with version control systems like SVN
  • Command line server management skills
